Our client is a reliable and professional company, which specializes in the supply of (pot) plants to the wholesalers and garden centres.

The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for:

  • Buying plants, ensuring the Company is providing the right quality, quantity and meeting the Customer needs.
  • Maintaining supplier base ensuring suppliers meet the company’s requirements.
  • Identifying new suppliers i.e. better value for money
  • Ensuring deliveries match purchase
  • Ensurng projected Sales targets are met.
  • Developing customer base and improving sales, by telephone sales and customer visits.
  • Being aware of customer needs and build a good relationship with them.
  • Customer Orders - Placing customer orders with suppliers ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Taking Customer orders over the phone and place orders with suppliers ensuring efficient delivery. Find alternative supplier when/where there are shortages.
  • Ensuring all stock is sold by end of week or as soon as possible.
  • Ensuring all orders are processed correctly. 

The IDEAL person will possess:

  • Excellent plant knowledge
  • Developed retail and customer service skills
  • Management or senior supervision skills
  • Must be able to work wholesale hours
