Our client is a large independent garden centre group based in the south central area of the UK. They are looking for an E-Commerce and Mail Order Manager to develop the company website and mail order catalogue.
The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing, Developing and Administering sales from the Company website and Mail Order Catalogues.
• Regular communications with suppliers, buyers and sales floor teams.
• Continuously reviewing performance based on Hit rates, conversion rates and visitor numbers,
• Stock photography, text writing and elements of graphic design
• Management of all sales and back office process including shopping carts, secure payments and logistics.
• Stimulating PR in local and national media.
The IDEAL person will possess:
• Experience of developing a successful e-commerce business
• Excellent communication and creative writing skills.
• A strong commercial understanding in a retail environment.
• Excellent IT Skills
• A flair for design and developed technical knowledge
